In the 8th match minute, Akashicos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Coelho to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Akashicos defense, Roberto Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Queiroz. The Akashicos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Marco Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Gilg in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Olivier Gilg managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's supporters rose to their feet, but Olivier Gilg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 15th minute of play forced Akashicos's goalkeeper Marco Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Akashicos's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Gilg came free, but Marco Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivier Gilg might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olivier Gilg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Akashicos's Ronaldinho Senna got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Marco Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Gilg in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Ronaldinho Senna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chico Donato was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Akashicos's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Gilg came free, but Marco Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivier Gilg took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Queiroz. Marco Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Olivier Gilg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Queiroz was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, Akashicos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Coelho to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Akashicos defense, Roberto Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Queiroz. The Akashicos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Queiroz should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes, Olivier Gilg made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Akashicos's Marco Queiroz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Akashicos getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pedrinho Coelho hit a great ball. When Eliézer Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Christian Carrier was substituted for Kenny Rothwell. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olavo Vale was the one to do the kick off. Roberto Lopes scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliézer Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Luiz Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Akashicos's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Lopes came free, but Marco Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Marco Queiroz made a huge save. André Luiz Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Roberto Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Queiroz having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Roberto Lopes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Akashicos's goalkeeper Marco Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Lopes. After 68th play minutes Roberto Lopes shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Marco Queiroz and just under the crossbar into goal. After 72 played minutes Akashicos got a freekick which was hit by Cido Custódio. Roberto Lopes took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Queiroz. Marco Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Marco Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Roberto Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Queiroz. Akashicos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Marco Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Eliézer Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target.
