Mehmet Poyraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Arnaldo Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Poyraz having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Poyraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Poyraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Poyraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, ARAKLISPOR's Mehmet Efe Uzbay got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARAKLISPOR's goalkeeper Mehmet Poyraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mehmet Poyraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnaldo Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 minutes, Elpidio Francis made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. ARAKLISPOR's Mehmet Poyraz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Francis in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Poyraz saved ARAKLISPOR from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, ARAKLISPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Mehmet Poyraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Monclús made a kick off. After 52 played minutes ARAKLISPOR got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Efe Uzbay. In the 59th minute, André Monclús left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ARAKLISPOR's goalkeeper Mehmet Poyraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timoteo Basualdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Poyraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. ARAKLISPOR's Mehmet Poyraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Monclús in the 79th minute of play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after ARAKLISPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petrică Măcriș took the corner. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Rafael Dalmu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Poyraz quite easily take care of the ball. Timoteo Basualdo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mehmet Poyraz was a little too slow when André Monclús got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-7. Mehmet Efe Uzbay charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Efe Uzbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA played a much better game than ARAKLISPOR and deserved their victory. The ARAKLISPOR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
