David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Joost Grootjans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jenipapo SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Krisztián Kormos was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal de Gols F.C's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Carlos Monteiro. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal Alagoano to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Jenipapo SC's zone, Marcel Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Seaman came out of the goal and Marcel Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenal de Gols F.C made a substitution. Ye Liang replaced Marcel Branco. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jan-Joost Grootjans hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Aníbal Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jenipapo SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
