Ronaldo Fenomeno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of David Seaman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Seaman came out of the goal and Elias Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kajetan Pilarski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Elias Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Seaman having to interfere. The Miau Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jenipapo SC were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno made a precise shot to the right of David Seaman. Jenipapo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Arcan Siralp made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zé Carlos Monteiro however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Alagoano got free with Abdulkadir Eraslan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miau Stars's Héctor Salamanca was substituted for Kenneth Knutsson. After 80 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Pilarski. Pedrinho Fahlmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Fahlmann in the 82nd minute of the match. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 83rd minute of play. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Fahlmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Maurício Arósio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Vidar Jespersson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Börje Kämpe. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Fahlmann in the 95th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
