The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mattias Valström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Brasil in the 4th minute of the match. Eusébio Negri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattias Valström having to make a save. After 14 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Mandrak. If Måns Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Paredes Fortes managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Granarna's Christian Skoglund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 23 minutes of play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Valström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mariano Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Gorosti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paredes Fortes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paredes Fortes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Skoglund's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes into the game, Kurt Lindholm threw the ball into play from the sideline. AKI CORINTHIANS's Olívio da Cunha quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 46th match minute, Granarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to AKI CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gonçalo da Silveira hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Ciro Brasil got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Albertinho Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Valström having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Valström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albertinho Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Ciro Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Christian Skoglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Skoglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paredes Fortes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AKI CORINTHIANS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
