In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ariel Mourelatos, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Cavalera got free with Ariel Mourelatos in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Ogro F.C.'s Thomas Lang to fire away a dangerous shot which Ariel Mourelatos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Cavalera to make the kick off. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Vergílio in the 51st minute of play. Jerônimo Vergílio took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Mourelatos. Ariel Mourelatos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Amboy FC made a substitution. Black Dragon replaced Zacarias Goleš. In the 64th minute, Amboy FC's Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 72nd minute of play. When Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amboy FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alysson Rezende was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Marco Minnemann replaced Igor Cavalera. Ogro F.C.'s Mike Mangini was substituted for Alex Van Halen. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ogro F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amboy FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
