Wang Hai ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wang Hai almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granarna's Mattias Valström did a great save. Béla Borelli's late challenge caught a Amboy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Béla Borelli helped the player get up and apologised. Béla Borelli kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Granarna defense, Mario Alberto Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mattias Valström. The Granarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattias Valström should have stopped the shot. Mattias Valström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerio Spadoni in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Amboy FC's Mario Alberto Abascal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Skoglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Granarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Amboy FC played a much better game than Granarna and deserved their victory. The Granarna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
