But to his dismay, Lluis Companys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Hargrave, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Lebas to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Igor Cavalera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Minnemann in the 90th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KaoS Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
