The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 10th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Newcastle United's Angelino Nueva threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thomas Vollmar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute, Thomas Vollmar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Vollmar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Angelino Nueva made a huge save. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Breckenfeld in the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Nueva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute of the match Newcastle United got a corner. Reko-Recko 03™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo Zonta ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd minute, Carlos Augusto Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zé Paulo Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Newcastle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo Zonta couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the game, Xande Cabezudo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mikolaj Jerzyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selman Ruzi in the 47th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Newcastle United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Reko-Recko 03™ were winning 0-2.

In the 52nd minute of the match Zé Paulo Zonta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelino Nueva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Malicki in the 60th minute of play. Tadeusz Pstrongowski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The long shot by Hao Feng Yu in the 62nd minute really tested Mikolaj Jerzyk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 68th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reko-Recko 03™'s Federico Valverde was substituted for Glauco Breckenfeld. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Vollmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Thomas Vollmar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Vollmar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Nueva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Vollmar went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 87 minutes, Xande Cabezudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Xande Cabezudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selman Ruzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save.
