Jorge Carrascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Luisinho Uribe struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Cássio Corinth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcellos Mineiro FC. 16 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Uribe came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, one of Red John S.K:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red John S.K. In the 20th minute, Jorge Carrascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 26th minute of play forced Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Uribe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Jorge Carrascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dale Dolar hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Barcellos Mineiro FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Carrascal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Wambasther Robben replaced Luisinho Uribe. Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Red John S.K from getting a goal against them. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wambasther Robben in the 65th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goal looked a bit too open when Wambasther Robben came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Corinth made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Jorge Carrascal sent off a good shot on target. Cássio Corinth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wambasther Robben, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Cássio Corinth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wambasther Robben in the 81st minute of play. After 87 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Loyola. Dale Dolar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Corinth having to make a save. Dale Dolar might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Corinth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Dolar ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Dolar in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Corinth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barcellos Mineiro FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
