Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ingvar Strand got the match started through his kick off. The throw-in from Enrico Maestri in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Scarlet Speedster's Tomas Wallin. 5 minutes into the match, Red John's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Mendonça. 7 minutes into the match, Red John's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Mendonça came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Corinth having to interfere. Isa Günyol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Ingvar Strand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Naldo Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Tomas Wallin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Red John's Enrico Maestri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 31st minute, Caetano Reyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Edward Krzynowek in the 32nd minute really tested Cássio Corinth's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 38 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Corinth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raigo Vananurm to maneuver through the defense. In the 46thth minute of the game Fausto Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red John's Cássio Corinth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Mendonça in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 53rdth minute of the game Fausto Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red John's Cássio Corinth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naldo Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Strand, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Red John's Sebastian Bach was substituted for Ingvar Strand. After taking down the ball on Red John's corner Denílson Lopes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Naldo Proença quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Fausto Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio Corinth was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Red John's Cássio Corinth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 76th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Scarlet Speedster lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
