The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anestis Kotsopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Trond Bjørheim came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rot-Weiss-Essen's Mesut Özil. But to his dismay, Mesut Özil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Dum Dum Boys Athletics made a substitution. Dušan Tadić replaced Niks Mus. In the 78th minute, Hakem Al Khames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dušan Tadić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's supporters rose to their feet, but Dušan Tadić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 96th match minute, Dum Dum Boys Athletics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Inge Kvalvåg to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dum Dum Boys Athletics players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rot-Weiss-Essen.
