The throw-in from Amílton Loyola in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Scarlet Speedster's Tomas Wallin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clóvis Vieira in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Proença saved Scarlet Speedster from getting behind. Amílton Loyola made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Scarlet Speedster's Tomas Wallin. After the first half Barcellos Mineiro FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Dolar to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Raigo Vananurm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Ugutz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Dale Dolar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Dolar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Wallin during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Wallin. The Scarlet Speedster supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barcellos Mineiro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barcellos Mineiro FC.
