The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Persson in the 6th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Åke Gunnarsson during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Stig-Åke Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match, Tomasz Czajka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredo Joey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Maximino Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. Michel Kinell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Medina's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Michel Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nykvarn's Michel Kinell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Gonzalez in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Santiago Mino put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Kinell. The Palermo fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Palermo's Santiago Mino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Nykvarn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palermo:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Palermo. Anthony Bonelli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Michel Kinell. 0-4. Michel Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Mino in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Kinell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Michel Kinell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Gonzalez in the 39th minute of play. Michel Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Michel Kinell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palermo were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Nykvarn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anthony Bonelli took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Maximino Gonzalez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Michel Kinell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Mino in the 66th minute. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Asserlind hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Asserlind. Michel Kinell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Medina went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Asserlind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nykvarn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. After 76 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Asserlind. In the 77th minute, Santiago Mino made a precise shot to the right of Michel Kinell. Nykvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. A hard shot 80 in the game by Santiago Mino from a close distance when the talented Michel Kinell managed to make a qualified save. Nykvarn's players were relieved. Ceferino Quinteros's late challenge caught a Nykvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Quinteros helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Palermo made a substitution. Nykvarn's Kalle Eklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Joey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Michel Kinell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Persson in the 92nd minute of play. Saul Felo's late challenge caught a Nykvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Felo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
