The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Cássio Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poetass FC's goalkeeper José Maria Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Witalis Brysz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laércio Trigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Witalis Brysz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 7th minute. Laércio Trigo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Poetass FC's Zeng Xu Yuan. But to his dismay, Zeng Xu Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bertrand Hatun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon-Egil Schjelderup didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Hatun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Kalle Billberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laércio Trigo. Kalle Billberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Laércio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Brysz in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Cássio Maia threw the ball into play from the sideline. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Don Mateo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Bertrand Hatun got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bertrand Hatun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrand Hatun in the 39th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Don Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's supporters rose to their feet, but Don Mateo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

54 minutes into the match, Bertrand Hatun notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano. José Maria Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laércio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Xu Yuan in the 56th minute of play. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Laércio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 56th minute of play. Laércio Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Xu Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Bertrand Hatun came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertrand Hatun couldn't finish the play. Zeng Xu Yuan scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Maria Goiano was a little too slow when Bertrand Hatun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 4-3. Leonel Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Pinheiro. Leonel Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Don Mateo hit a great ball. Bertrand Hatun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Maria Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poetass FC made a substitution. Vicente Heidemann replaced Cássio Maia. Laércio Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Xu Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando de Lara to maneuver through the defense. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Laércio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Poetass FC were the better team. Poetass FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
