Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abel de Godoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abel de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Vergílio in the 5th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Vergílio in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Maranhense saved Olivedos from getting behind. In the 14th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Vergílio came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Augusto in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Olivedos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lei Feng Yan who took care of the corner kick. 23 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel de Godoi. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. Tony Schmidt made a great header on Olivedos's corner, it was just that S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal managed to reach the ball for a save. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Esen Sanal managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Olivedos's Abel de Godoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abel de Godoi took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esen Sanal. Esen Sanal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 31st minute, Renato Augusto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel de Godoi in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Sanal saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. In the 34thth minute of the game Abel de Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esen Sanal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Abel de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esen Sanal having to make a save. In the 45th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Vergílio in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Breno Vergílio made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Lei Feng Yan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Maranhense was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Daniel Owsiak kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Abel de Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esen Sanal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel de Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Abelardo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Lei Feng Yan sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 66 minutes, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breno Vergílio got free with Abelardo Maranhense in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Abel de Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esen Sanal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Olivedos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Renato Augusto scored to the left of an out of position Abelardo Maranhense, making the score, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olivedos had won after a very even match.
