Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Remo Peres started the match with the kick off. Zlatko Zahovič took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Barreto. Mané Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mané Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Carabott, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Mané Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Bueno's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 14 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Qu Peng Kang. Aaron Tanti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Thomás Loureiro. Fabio Savona hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Jorginho Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Bueno in the 22nd minute of the match. Mané Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zlatko Zahovič went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Aaron Tanti made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Inácio Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Mané Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Carabott in the 37th minute of play. Thomás Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Tanti having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Vilmos Szikora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eleven Young Elephants's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E. C. Flamengo Paraibano the free kick. After a rather tough play, Eleven Young Elephants's Vilmos Szikora got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Peres to maneuver through the defense. Mané Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darren Carabott in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Solarek. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Edinho Dantas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Edinho Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Severino Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bernardinho Vaz hit a great ball. The supporters of Eleven Young Elephants booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Kajdasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remo Peres in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Tanti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Zahovič. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Bueno got free with Mané Barreto in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Bueno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mané Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Bueno slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 76th minute. Mané Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darren Carabott went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Perez in the 82nd minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Mané Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Bueno in the 84th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Eleven Young Elephants's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Silveira came free, but Aaron Tanti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a corner. Eleven Young Elephants's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomás Loureiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Remo Peres to a score. 1-4 in the 92nd minute. Mané Barreto was a little too slow when Zlatko Zahovič got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-5. When the match was over Eleven Young Elephants could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than E. C. Flamengo Paraibano throughout the match.
