Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Mario Alberto Kempes put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. In the 27th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Díaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zé Paulo Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Newcastle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo Zonta couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Kinsen made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Thomas Vollmar sent off a good shot on target. After 40 minutes, Kajetan Kochniarczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the Laurita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Kajetan Kochniarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Mario Alberto Kempes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikolaj Jerzyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Alberto Kempes made a kick off. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 54th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Newcastle United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laurita FC:s goal. Esa Garcha shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Erland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Laurita FC's Mario Alberto Kempes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnulfo Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Kochniarczyk in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Alberto Kempes. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Mario Alberto Kempes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laurita FC's Šair Lupin was substituted for Mario Alberto Kempes. 78 minutes into the match, Laurita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Malicki came free, but Arnulfo Kinsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 79th minute of play forced Laurita FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Vollmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurita FC's Šair Lupin got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
