The audience was convinced that Herbert Hök's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helmuth Miner was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, FC Acatar's Andrei Alexandrescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Popcorn Miner in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Lobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Alexandrescu got free with Helmuth Miner in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diamantino Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Popcorn Miner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Daddy Miner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmuth Miner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Alexandrescu in the 22nd minute. Daddy Miner made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Beat Miner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Popcorn Miner in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Lobo saved FC Acatar from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Andrei Alexandrescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmuth Miner was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Alex Brașoveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Popcorn Miner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Lobo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Andrei Alexandrescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Popcorn Miner might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Lobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Popcorn Miner ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Acatar's Diamantino Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Popcorn Miner in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Acatar's goalkeeper Diamantino Lobo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cătălin Hăulică kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Popcorn Miner put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Diamantino Lobo. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute of the game Daddy Miner made a throw-in which Alex Brașoveanu played forward. Gigi Junilă kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Popcorn Miner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Popcorn Miner might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Lobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Popcorn Miner ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Popcorn Miner got free with Diamantino Lobo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Alex Brașoveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Popcorn Miner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diamantino Lobo. That made the score 2-3 after 77 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Hök in the 80th minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Helmuth Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Popcorn Miner made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Acatar's Diamantino Lobo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, FC Acatar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Navia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Popcorn Miner in the 88th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Diamantino Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Popcorn Miner in the 91st minute of play. Dodorol Miner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Diamantino Lobo made a huge save.
