The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Hill in the 13th minute of play forced 1947 FC's goalkeeper Brian Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the 1947 FC defense, Benny Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brian Johnson. The 1947 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brian Johnson should have stopped the shot. Jerome Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goren Baños in the 18th minute of play. The corner led to 1947 FC's Ariel Bonachea getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jerome Ngake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Bonachea in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Armando Fasoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Fasoli in the 44th minute of play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Fasoli got free with Jerome Ngake in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benny Hill struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Brian Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Draconia. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Amaury Van den Berge got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Joaquin Lekubegi ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Draconia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 1947 FC for a fine match.
