Goral Zywiec's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Åke Odin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Carabata Groove's Caner Bahçıvan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 11th minute, Victorino Frederik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Goito. The goal made the score 1-0. After 14 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Frisco. 16 minutes in the game Luca De La Torre did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alfred Ewertowski. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Frederik, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Goral Zywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca De La Torre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Frederik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Gerlach in the 27th minute of play. Gilbert Glogowski made in the 29th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alfred Ewertowski however managed to control. Michael Krawczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtzi Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hauk Hareide in the 43rd minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Frederik in the 46th minute of the match. Hauk Hareide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Krawczyk having to interfere. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Nemesio Opilano replaced Hauk Hareide. Carabata Groove's Cesur Atik was substituted for Caner Bahçıvan. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesur Atik was the one to do the kick off. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Frederik in the 53rd minute of play. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Abechuco in the 55th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Cesur Atik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Krawczyk. Goral Zywiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesur Atik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 74th minute Nemesio Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Krawczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Roman Makomaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carabata Groove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry White was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Carabata Groove players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Goral Zywiec.
