In the 14th minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Avellana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grabiel Escorcia went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Camilo Candido got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Grabiel Escorcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juaneizu Merida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gasteiz Latorre went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juaneizu Merida made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gasteiz Latorre sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Anthon Öberg replaced Gasteiz Latorre. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Cao Kuan Wei was substituted for Marco Aguirre. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grabiel Escorcia made a kick off. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Anthon Öberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Trasloseros's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Trasloseros helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nacional booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Trasloseros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Nacional's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
