After a rather tough play, ASI NOMAS FC's Isadoro Sabino got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Chepe Margarita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Dalmai Caraballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASI NOMAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo City Torque the free kick. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when ASI NOMAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmai Caraballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Rava made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the ASI NOMAS FC defense, Agustín Álvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciccio Rava. The ASI NOMAS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciccio Rava should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Carlos Bueno notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler. Christophe Troxler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Agustín Álvarez made the kick off in the second half. Christophe Troxler was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Carlos Bueno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Bueno really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Christophe Troxler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montevideo City Torque's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chico Serna was slow to take the kick. During this time ASI NOMAS FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ASI NOMAS FC's Chico Serna to fire away a dangerous shot which Christophe Troxler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 67th minute Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play ASI NOMAS FC's Dalmai Caraballo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. ASI NOMAS FC made a substitution. Zhu Jian Zhen replaced Carlos Bueno. Dalmai Caraballo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ciccio Rava took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isadoro Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Troxler having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Agustín Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciccio Rava was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the ASI NOMAS FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montevideo City Torque.
