Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Martínez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Gasteiz Latorre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Selatse having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Deunoro Barbadillo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Toro Martínez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeremy Avellana. That made the score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 57 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinu Ivănescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida AFC.
