After a rather tough play, Hemse RK's Gabriel Hedlund got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Lou Wegers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Lanng, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Lou Wegers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Åström in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Gabriel Hedlund threw the ball into play from the sideline. de belletrekkers's Philipp Van Emelen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Oliver Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lou Wegers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Hedlund made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by de belletrekkers's Philipp Van Emelen. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hemse RK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marten Merckx was slow to take the kick. During this time de belletrekkers's players had a chance to rest. de belletrekkers's Marten Merckx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's Lou Wegers got control of the ball when Rune Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Philipp Van Emelen kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the game Gabriel Hedlund made a throw-in which Oliver Åström played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Gustafsson got free with Lou Wegers in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliver Åström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lou Wegers made a huge save. Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulus Van Hove in the 39th minute of play. Herve Hemeleers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, de belletrekkers's Paulus Van Hove nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

When Quirce Castro fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de belletrekkers's protests and gave Quirce Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Quirce Castro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Åström came free, but Lou Wegers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulus Van Hove in the 60th minute of play. Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Hemse RK from getting a goal against them. Tomas Hägert's late challenge caught a de belletrekkers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Hägert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when Hemse RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Hägert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes, Oliver Åström made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. de belletrekkers's Lou Wegers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Timo Lanng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lou Wegers. de belletrekkers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Lanng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Gustafsson in the 72nd minute of play forced de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Lou Wegers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Hägert came free, but Lou Wegers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Paulus Van Hove sent off a good shot on target. Lou Wegers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lou Wegers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Gustafsson in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herve Hemeleers got free with Sven-Åke Kjellbom in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lou Wegers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Lanng, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 96th minute, de belletrekkers's Paulus Van Hove ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Sven-Åke Kjellbom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the de belletrekkers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hemse RK.
