In the 11thth minute of the game Froilan Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Argentino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Olivar was slow to take the kick. During this time SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Justino Mundo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilbert Godefroid kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raimundo Feliu. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Argentino from getting a goal against them. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Atlético Argentino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Olivar took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Gilbert Godefroid managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 22nd minute, Josemir Lujambio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Argentino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Donostia in the 55th minute of play. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
