In a very dangerous position, a player in Arrecifes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's Victoriano Matro got a free kick in the 24th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Bertin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcos Fraco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Normando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Fonda in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Mikolas in the 39th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Donato Emmanuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bendito Sea El Fernet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrecifes the free kick. A collision led to Bendito Sea El Fernet getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Donato Emmanuel hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Bertin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Fraco. Arrecifes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Bertin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Arrecifes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abel Uzuri 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0.

A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dalmacio Honrio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando got control of the ball when Modesto Mikolas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Hartz to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Guerrero, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marciano Hartz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Arrecifes made a substitution. Abel Egoitz replaced Alejandro Fonda. Arrecifes's Froilan Cutberto was substituted for Modesto Mikolas. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Cutberto in the 67th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arrecifes's Froilan Cutberto in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arrecifes's Dalmacio Honrio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilfredo Igon in the 87 minute of the game. Jeronimo Bertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Bendito Sea El Fernet from getting a goal against them. In the 98th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Bendito Sea El Fernet walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
