After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Nereo Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Sky FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Rufo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Q. T. I.'s Victorino Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Rufo in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Black Sky FC got a corner. Q. T. I.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin Mateo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Laureano Mercurio tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Victorino Balesio. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 16th minute. Nereo Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Balesio having to interfere. Black Sky FC's Melquiades Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Menendo in the 24th minute of play. Victorino Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Q. T. I. defense, Alberto Bilintx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Balesio. The Q. T. I. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Balesio should have stopped the shot. Victorino Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Bilintx in the 38th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Filomeno Perrando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Q. T. I. and the Black Sky FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Menendo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tiburcio Dimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Serafin Mateo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Victorino Balesio threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Serafin Mateo this time. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Hernan Rios got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 69 minutes into the match, Astor Berart notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Black Sky FC's Melquiades Sergi. Melquiades Sergi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Black Sky FC booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Black Sky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Aztore to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Idacio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
