The San Fernando Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A hard shot 23 in the game by Jonas Remicio from a close distance when the talented Saul Etxeberri managed to make a qualified save. San Fernando Eagles's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Arias in the 25th minute of play forced Amapola's goalkeeper Gaspar Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Amapola got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Eliu. Gaspar Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Arias in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Firme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41stth minute of the game Remigio Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amapola's Gaspar Firme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Vimaro during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Mauro Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Sayveon to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Jeronimo Quinten put in a rough tackle. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amapola! Gaspar Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Vimaro went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mauro Sayveon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gaspar Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Arias in the 68th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos Confesor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaspar Firme. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. After 73 played minutes Amapola got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Tauro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Refugio during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgardo Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Marcial Bras dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaspar Firme, 0-4. After having played for 86 minutes, Remigio Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Fernando Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Amapola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Marcial Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Etxeberri having to interfere. The supporters of Amapola booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Vimaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Fernando Eagles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
