Blas Umbruso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Blas Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With his leg Saul Etxeberri managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Estación Q.'s Amador Hever fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saul Etxeberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Hever in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Santos Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Hever in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Saul Etxeberri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jose Tomi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Ambrosio Vimaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blas Umbruso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Marcial Bras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Umbruso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amador Hever to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Eustacio Perfecto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blas Umbruso. The goal made the score 1-3. Saul Etxeberri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Hever's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, San Fernando Eagles's Teodosio Herensuge seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teodosio Herensuge the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of San Fernando Eagles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodosio Herensuge had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 86th minute, one of San Fernando Eagles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Fernando Eagles. San Fernando Eagles:s Saul Etxeberri showed great skill when he stopped Cristian Pedroso:s penalty. In the 92nd minute, Eustacio Perfecto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Remigio Arias hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Cristian Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estación Q.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Pedroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Etxeberri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. San Fernando Eagles's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
