In the 23rd minute, Caballeritos del Baile's Arsenio Cristos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. With a little luck, San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri got control of the ball when Leandro Gaufred tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Bras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Bras. In the 37th minute, Arsenio Cristos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

San Fernando Eagles made a substitution. Eustacio Perfecto replaced Santos Confesor. Saul Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 52nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's Florentino Veronica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Etxeberri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Eustacio Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pascual Ekialde hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Veronica. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Caballeritos del Baile's Arsenio Cristos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saul Etxeberri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85th play minutes Leandro Gaufred shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Saul Etxeberri and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Arias got free with Rodrigo Pes in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caballeritos del Baile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Fernando Eagles for a fine match.
