A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Apolo Berdoi hit a great ball. Ceferino Truylos charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Truylos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ceferino Truylos hit a great ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Leandro Gaufred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Gaufred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Cristos ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorino Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Menendo to make the kick off. Rodrigo Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Berart in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Cristos came free, but Victorino Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Veto's late challenge caught a Caballeritos del Baile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Veto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, German Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Astor Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Leandro Gaufred left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caballeritos del Baile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Florentino Veronica struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Victorino Balesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballeritos del Baile. During the 87th minute of the match Jaime Menendo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Caballeritos del Baile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
