Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernardo Romeo kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Bilbo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Fulgencio Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Domingos Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Tipi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Iaki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Sotil. Clodoveo Corderro's late challenge caught a Abuba Akotonon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Corderro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Clodoveo Corderro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Benjamin Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Corderro came free, but Domingos Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Romeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes Abuba Akotonon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walter Erviti who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Walter Erviti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Domingos Iaki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SAN LORENZO FC's Gerardo Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Piarres in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Domingos Iaki got control of the ball when Clodoveo Corderro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Titan Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Romelio having to interfere. Gerardo Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SAN LORENZO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abuba Akotonon FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Sotil to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Gerardo Romelio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 58th minute, Hipolito Piarres made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Romelio. SAN LORENZO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 61 minutes into the game, Sixto Birjaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abuba Akotonon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN LORENZO FC the free kick. In the 61st minute, Sixto Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Maximino Ofelio replaced Bernardo Romeo. Sixto Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Maximino Ofelio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingos Iaki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Domingos Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Ofelio in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Benjamin Sotil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 86th minute, Gerardo Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Benjamin Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Maximino Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abuba Akotonon FC played a much better game than SAN LORENZO FC and deserved their victory. The SAN LORENZO FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
