The Ajax Poland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korneliusz Rasimowicz should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Gana ran back to his position shaking his head. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Gana in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Álvaro Fonseca threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ajax Poland's Abdurrahman Gulson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Poland's zone, Aquiles Gana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korneliusz Rasimowicz came out of the goal and Aquiles Gana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciccio Di Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Baran got free with Dražen Ladić in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ajax Poland were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after AC Morena's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateusz Baran took the corner. Mateusz Baran made a great header on Ajax Poland's corner, it was just that AC Morena's Dražen Ladić managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 95 minutes, Aquiles Gana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Morena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Gana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The AC Morena supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Morena would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
