Benedicto Atarratze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Čech having to make a save. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Atarratze in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Gol to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Gol scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolás Tauber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolás Tauber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC InmENZO 09-12-2018's Nicolás Tauber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Dirks in the 34th minute of play. AC InmENZO 09-12-2018's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Thiago Gol scored to the left of an out of position Nicolás Tauber, making the score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

SCs StarS made a substitution. Co Scholten replaced Edgar Reitsema. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Atarratze to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Zijden to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Atarratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Čech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 94thth minute Saturnino Acevedo beautifully dribbled past SCs StarS's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Petr Čech pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. After taking down the ball on AC InmENZO 09-12-2018's corner Saturnino Acevedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Petr Čech quite easily take care of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
