The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. In the 39th minute Igor Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strömsbro IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tommy Asklöv in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Igor Bambas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armağan Mukremin. Flatline Zombies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Bambas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Georg Gustavsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Beck in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Flatline Zombies's Valentin Rindlisbacher got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tommy Asklöv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Charlie Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Strömsbro IF were awarded a corner. Tommy Asklöv went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tommy Asklöv got away a dangerous shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Gustavsson in the 70th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Charlie Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armağan Mukremin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armağan Mukremin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Bambas in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Bambas. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Bo Harman got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Conti in the 85th minute of the match. Igor Bambas's late challenge caught a Flatline Zombies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Bambas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Flatline Zombies booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Bambas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strömsbro IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
