Demario Cuadrado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 8th minute Carl Tempel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SV PM Cottbus were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after CD Boiro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erik Niva took the corner. SV PM Cottbus's Erik Niva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Perico Raya in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute Ferdinand Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Tenbruck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Tempel came free, but Perico Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Boiro's Perico Raya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Niva in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Zeng Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Tenbruck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Tenbruck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demario Cuadrado in the 23rd minute. Perico Raya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Tempel in the 24th minute of play. SV PM Cottbus's Julius Tenbruck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SV PM Cottbus from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Niva was the one to do the kick off. Gencalp Kani hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match CD Boiro got a corner. SV PM Cottbus's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Demario Cuadrado ran over to the corner to take the kick. SV PM Cottbus's Julius Tenbruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Paz in the 57th minute of play. If Ferdinand Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SV PM Cottbus's Ansgar Kleim was substituted for Heribert Löning. 64 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julius Tenbruck. SV PM Cottbus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Julius Tenbruck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Carl Tempel managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV PM Cottbus's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Tempel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perico Raya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Figari took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julius Tenbruck. Julius Tenbruck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Julius Tenbruck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Turi in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demario Cuadrado in the 83rd minute of play forced SV PM Cottbus's goalkeeper Julius Tenbruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius Tenbruck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demario Cuadrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julius Tenbruck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Turi in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Eustaquio Turi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Boiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
