Martin Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Prada in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 23rd minute of play forced Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Martin Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Dário Prada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Martin Leheren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Attilio Casciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Veronica struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Martin Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hornos. Jaime Veronica's late challenge caught a Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Veronica helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Veronica kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Prada was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Prada came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Prada in the 60th minute of the match. Silas de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Casciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los Hornos booed when Deportivo Luz y Fuerza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hornos's zone, Rigoberto Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas de Andrade came out of the goal and Rigoberto Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Miran Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miran Moco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas de Andrade having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Deportivo Luz y Fuerza players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
