A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ramachandramurthy Ramachandran hit a great ball. Răzvan Necula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Potocianu having to make a save. Constantin Potocianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Constantin Potocianu, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Necula in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Potocianu saved Mapovihesa FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match, Zézinho Neiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Constantin Potocianu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Constantin Potocianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordanis Karatzaferis in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Hernan Lano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Potocianu having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Erramu came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Răzvan Necula to strike the kick off in the second half. Al Wieczorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Vitaliy Vischak made a huge save. Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciriaco Lore, made in the 55th minute of the game. Mapovihesa FC's Ziya Onur Muzaffer was substituted for Raimundo Erramu. Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas was substituted for Răzvan Necula. Ciriaco Lore made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Telis Lianos immediately put the ball in play. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Soroca F.C. from getting a goal against them. Vitaliy Vischak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usain Bolt in the 76th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Quilino came free, but Constantin Potocianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Usain Bolt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mapovihesa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Usain Bolt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
