An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 28th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. Vitaliy Vischak made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Olli Fiedler sent off a good shot on target. After 37 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Davison was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitaliy Vischak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Sportivo Luan Toro were awarded a corner. Guaberto Bento went to the cornerflag to take it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrián Espadas was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Sergius Ramus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Sergius Ramus. In the 67th minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitaliy Vischak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sirius Black, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. In the 78th minute of the match Sportivo Luan Toro got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Bento ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Guaberto Bento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak did a great save. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Soroca F.C.'s zone, Martins Palermo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitaliy Vischak came out of the goal and Martins Palermo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Davison having to interfere.
