Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bartolo Clementi made the kick off which started today's match. Erubiel Carlomagno hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 詹俊 á Bø in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Baladi saved U21 Argentina from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's goalkeeper Vykan Víkingsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Clementi. Martin Suy made a great header on U21 Argentina's corner, it was just that Wellington Phoenix's Vykan Víkingsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 19th minute of the game Gogo Oriol made a throw-in which Saturnino Honrio played forward. In the 26th minute, Martin Suy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaume Roure recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, 詹俊 á Bø made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Baladi. U21 Argentina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vykan Víkingsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartolo Clementi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play.

U21 Argentina made a substitution. Segundo Casco replaced Christian Romero. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 詹俊 á Bø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wellington Phoenix's Remo Carvalho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by King Sputore, made in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by 詹俊 á Bø in the 54th minute of play forced U21 Argentina's goalkeeper Nemesio Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Hugo Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vykan Víkingsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 詹俊 á Bø in the 68th minute of play forced U21 Argentina's goalkeeper Nemesio Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Casomiro came free, but Vykan Víkingsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Baladi was a little too slow when 詹俊 á Bø got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. Vykan Víkingsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Casco in the 74th minute of play. Wellington Phoenix's Gabriel Magalhães was substituted for Sandro Trigo. Vykan Víkingsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Casco, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, U21 Argentina's King Sputore got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Alcaraz came free, but Vykan Víkingsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Urbez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Wellington Phoenix booed when U21 Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. King Sputore didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wellington Phoenix walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
