After a rather tough play, Falcons FC's Piers Whittaker got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee ignored Oosterwierum Excelsior's protests and gave Huub Mol a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Oosterwierum Excelsior got a freekick which was hit by Huub Mol. After a rather tough play, Falcons FC's Donald Godfrey got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to Falcons FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Brandon Lonsdale hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Oosterwierum Excelsior's Eelco Uebels got a free kick in the 28th minute. Verne Barr had several of the Oosterwierum Excelsior's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Boudewijn Enzing as he didn't even see the shot coming. Giles Branson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Falcons FC booed when Oosterwierum Excelsior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Zuidema didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Verne Barr made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Denham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huub Mol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Giles Branson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boudewijn Enzing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verne Barr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Denham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huub Mol in the 62nd minute of the match. Gert Bennink kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Falcons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Eagles to maneuver through the defense. Boudewijn Enzing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verne Barr in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Giles Branson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boudewijn Enzing. Oosterwierum Excelsior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giles Branson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Verne Barr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boudewijn Enzing having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Falcons FC's Jay Power got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Falcons FC had played much better football throughout.
