Vårby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albariño the free kick. A collision led to Vårby getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gustaf Söderquist hit a great ball. Fulgencio Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Mellin in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Fermin Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Mellin in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Nils Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Evelio Tibalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johan Beckman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fulgencio Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Albariño defense, Nils Tidén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Fernandes. The Albariño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Fernandes should have stopped the shot. Fulgencio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Apelquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Vårby's Sebastian Mellin in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albariño's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Tibalt during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, Albariño's Johan Beckman threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denis Giraldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fulgencio Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Tidén in the 88th minute of play. Isaac Gunnarsson's late challenge caught a Albariño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Gunnarsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vårby getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Isaac Gunnarsson hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Vilhelm Mårtensson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Fernandes skillfully saved the ball. When the referee ended the match the Vårby players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
