Helmuth Miner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Crăciunaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Popovici in the 13th minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Helmuth Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Matei Călin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmuth Miner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th match minute, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz-Josef Miner to maneuver through the defense. Cornel Popovici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Internazionale's Denis Brânzaru got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Alex Brașoveanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alex Brașoveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM booed when FC Internazionale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Brânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Popcorn Miner in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, one of FC Internazionale:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Melchazadec Terron had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Dodorol Miner's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Helmuth Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Călin in the 33rd minute of the match. Popcorn Miner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchazadec Terron having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Popovici came free, but Helmuth Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Popcorn Miner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Melchazadec Terron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, FC Internazionale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Brânzaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 44thth minute of the game Popcorn Miner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cornel Popovici made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Internazionale getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matei Călin hit a great ball. Melchazadec Terron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Popcorn Miner, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Cornel Popovici managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Internazionale's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Popovici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmuth Miner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Popcorn Miner scored 1-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchazadec Terron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melchazadec Terron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Popcorn Miner's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute of the match CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM got a corner. FC Internazionale's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dodorol Miner ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 75 played minutes CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM got a freekick which was hit by Alex Brașoveanu. Alex Brașoveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Melchazadec Terron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matei Călin might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmuth Miner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matei Călin ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 played minutes FC Internazionale got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Popovici. Melchazadec Terron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Popcorn Miner in the 91st minute of play. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dodorol Miner in the 92nd minute. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Dodorol Miner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Melchazadec Terron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Neither CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM or FC Internazionale succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornel Popovici in the 105th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Miner saved CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Popovici in the 105th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Miner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Brânzaru hit a great freekick 108 minutes into the match. Melchazadec Terron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Popcorn Miner in the 109th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 110th minute by Popcorn Miner got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
