In the 9th minute, Eleuterio Bela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Cucao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonid Polovkov's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. With a little luck, La gloriosa Acade's Joost Kindermans got control of the ball when Adan Gonza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joost Kindermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Serafo in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. Leonid Polovkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Seme came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Cresencio in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Gizon got free with Joost Kindermans in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleuterio Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Leonid Polovkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. La gloriosa Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Polovkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Cucao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes Leonid Polovkov shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Guaberto Cucao when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Nunez Gizon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mainumby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
Guaberto Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Polovkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match La gloriosa Acade got a corner. Mainumby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oscar Cresencio ran over to the corner to take the kick. La gloriosa Acade's Oscar Cresencio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guaberto Cucao in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as La gloriosa Acade's Vicente Bertran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guaberto Cucao. That made the score 1-1 after 58 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, La gloriosa Acade's Guaberto Cucao threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonid Polovkov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 65 minutes into the match, La gloriosa Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Gonza came free, but Joost Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Lázaro Chap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joost Kindermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Cucao having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, La gloriosa Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Gonza came free, but Joost Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonid Polovkov in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Cucao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, La gloriosa Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Gonza came free, but Joost Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao got control of the ball when Leonid Polovkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonid Polovkov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guaberto Cucao came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonid Polovkov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 86th minute. Vicente Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Cucao having to interfere. Ezequiel Sugoi's late challenge caught a La gloriosa Acade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Sugoi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Ezequiel Sugoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by La gloriosa Acade's Leonid Polovkov. But to his dismay, Leonid Polovkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. La gloriosa Acade's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
