In the 3rd minute Mecnun Seha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alão Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alão Caetano made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Žydrūnas Pauža sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Fontão in the 7th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Marílio Firmino put in a rough tackle. 8 minutes into the game, one of Bridlington FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. MarineerS FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Antolin in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ilias Tsembelis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alão Caetano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carl Rundell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alão Caetano having to make a save. In the 17th minute of the match, Carl Rundell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alão Caetano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot by Mehmet Emrah Dolunay from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Alão Caetano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bridlington FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alda De Matos in the 24th minute. Bridlington FC's Alda De Matos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tayfun Tanfer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Quilempan came free, but Tayfun Tanfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Emrah Dolunay hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alão Caetano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žydrūnas Pauža's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Žydrūnas Pauža in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alão Caetano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Žydrūnas Pauža got free in front of the goal in the 31st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Alão Caetano was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Mecnun Seha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Canales charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Canales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute Afonso Fontão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayfun Tanfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Bridlington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Žydrūnas Pauža came free, but Alão Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Žydrūnas Pauža did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Alão Caetano 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
In the 52nd match minute, Bridlington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Canales to maneuver through the defense. When Mecnun Seha came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the MarineerS FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mecnun Seha couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Bridlington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mecnun Seha came free, but Alão Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MarineerS FK booed when Bridlington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Canales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alão Caetano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mecnun Seha went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Mecnun Seha notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bridlington FC's Alão Caetano. Alão Caetano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Žydrūnas Pauža's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alão Caetano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Alão Caetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Žydrūnas Pauža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Žydrūnas Pauža received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alão Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alão Caetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tekin Batırhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alão Caetano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mecnun Seha went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. MarineerS FK's Ján Novák was substituted for Lucien Vercalsteren. The MarineerS FK fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when MarineerS FK's Ján Novák looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ján Novák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alão Caetano having to make a save. Bridlington FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfun Tanfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ján Novák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alão Caetano having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MarineerS FK fully deserved thier win.
