Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's David Reis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Liverpool FC's Markku Ruhanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ursus Erler in the 8th minute of play. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Liverpool FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Reis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that David Reis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Markku Ruhanen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Herkko Virolainen fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool FC's protests and gave Herkko Virolainen a yellow card for diving instead. Herkko Virolainen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. David Reis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Markku Ruhanen. Liverpool FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Igor Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Igor Luz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teuvo Latvanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute of the match, Kustaa Esala tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leandro Meireles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 31 minutes, Kustaa Esala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kustaa Esala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Meireles was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Jimi Lindström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jimi Lindström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 36th minute, Ursus Erler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Teuvo Latvanen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Meireles. Teuvo Latvanen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ursus Erler came free, but Markku Ruhanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markku Ruhanen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Barata, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Leandro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimi Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herkko Virolainen was slow to take the kick. During this time Liverpool FC's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kustaa Esala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Meireles didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Liverpool FC's Teuvo Latvanen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Leandro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reino Kaltiainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Leandro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimi Lindström in the 58th minute of play. Reino Kaltiainen might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reino Kaltiainen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 63 played minutes Reino Kaltiainen shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles to catch but Reino Kaltiainen was lucky. It became 4-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. David Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Markku Ruhanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kustaa Esala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos defense, Reino Kaltiainen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Meireles. The Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Meireles should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimi Lindström in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Meireles saved Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos from getting behind. Leandro Meireles came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool FC's Kustaa Esala. But to his dismay, Kustaa Esala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kustaa Esala in the 83rd minute of play. Leandro Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimi Lindström in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Guarda. Leandro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herkko Virolainen in the 88th minute of play. Leandro Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimi Lindström went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herkko Virolainen in the 93rd minute of play forced Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goalkeeper Leandro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goal looked a bit too open when Jimi Lindström came free, but Leandro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herkko Virolainen was slow to take the kick. During this time Liverpool FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Kustaa Esala drilling the ball in to score 9-0 behind Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goalkeeper.
