Igor Jokin started the match with the kick off. Igor Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Tifo Marinović made a huge save. If Igor Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Mónoss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Tifo Marinović to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd match minute, Obrero Barquisimeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Comillas to maneuver through the defense. Tifo Marinović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Mónos in the 28th minute. Cido Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aldo Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tifo Marinović was a little too slow when Gabriel Mónos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 39 minutes of play, Marno F.C.'s Igor Jokin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tifo Marinović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igor Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tifo Marinović made a huge save. Aldo Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cido Cardozo to make the kick off. Obrero Barquisimeto's Richie Vasaburu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Bieito, made in the 51st minute of the game. Martin Bieito kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lázaro Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tifo Marinović having to make a save. Tifo Marinović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tifo Marinović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Cefero in the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe got control of the ball when Cido Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lázaro Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marno F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Cefero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tifo Marinović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lázaro Cefero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tifo Marinović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Antoñana came free, but Aldo Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Fausto Comillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Comillas hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Zeledon Valiente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tifo Marinović. Obrero Barquisimeto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Valiente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Obrero Barquisimeto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marno F.C..
