Defensores de Lombroso's Denis Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Erauso in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Erauso in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Paulin saved Defensores de Lombroso from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Marco Erauso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Paulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Ubaldo Gelacio fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Lombroso's protests and gave Ubaldo Gelacio a yellow card for diving instead. Ubaldo Gelacio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Uriel Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Marco Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Erauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Paulin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Israel Vidal got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Erauso made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marco Erauso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Paulin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were awarded a corner. Israel Vidal went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Mitchel Bakker advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 52nd minute. Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 55th minute of the match. Lionel-Andrés Messi scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Marco Erauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Paulin came out of the goal and Marco Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Siqueira took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Paulin. Denis Paulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Amadeo Raebert replaced Lucio Cordarrol. In the 73rd minute, Marco Erauso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Roman Riquelme hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Erauso in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Paulin saved Defensores de Lombroso from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Pirro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Marco Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Erauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Defensores de Lombroso's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rio Verde F.C CIMZ had won, even though Defensores de Lombroso had held more of the ball.
