The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ubaldo Poncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Felipe Tajo made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Håkan Wennersten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Roderigo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Delmar Obano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Monky FC got a corner. Trinchera FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andres Musko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herminio Roderigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Wennersten went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Wennersten in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Roderigo saved Trinchera FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Monky FC's Felipe Tajo got control of the ball when Eloy Dimas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Siro Cedro in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monky FC's Romeo Ospin. In the 45th minute, Håkan Wennersten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Roderigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Patricio Mannuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Herminio Roderigo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Mannuel got free with Herminio Roderigo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Mannuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 顾帆宁, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute 顾帆宁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Patricio Mannuel put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Herminio Roderigo. 86 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Mannuel. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Eloy Dimas made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Tajo. Monky FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. If Roque Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monky FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
